2 Weeks and counting...

This is the little guys back we have literally never seen his face on ultrasound. Shy I guess?

Today I am officially 37 weeks Pregnant. I can't decide if it came fast or slow. Sometimes it was a little of both. I am "pretty" ready to hold this little man in my arms. I cannot tell you how blessed I feel to be a mom to a second child and having no complications along the way. Jade and I were worried we would and I think we will always be with every child we have, but so far the only hard part was how sick I got at the beginning. I am so glad it didn't last the whole pregnancy!
This little guy is scheduled to come February 25th at 7:00 am C-Section. I have to have all my babies C-Section because I had Hallie that way (little stinker sat breach the whole time). Mixed feelings on how I feel that I will never experience having a natural birth but overall I am ok with it. I watched Hallie's birth video the other night and one part that I really like about having a C-Section is how much time Jade gets to spend with the Newborn before me. He video the whole thing and was able to see her get weighed, measured, and cleaned off. While that is happening he is telling me all about her. What her hair, nose, eyes, and toes look like; as I am getting stitched back up. For some reason I just love that he gets that bonding time with the baby because I know I will get mine. He also helps give the baby their first bath which is so precious to watch. I just love it!
Thinking back on that day just makes me want to cry, the look on Jade's face when he first saw her, the joy of finally holding that little girl for the first time. Becoming a mom; it truly is one of the greatest days of my life. I hope that when this little guy comes I can just relive all the wonderful feelings of love, hope, and excitement I did before with no complications. Now the key is to keep him from coming sooner then the scheduled date. I had Hallie what would be this coming Thursday so we will see. The anticipation is killing me!

Baby Boy Sprinkle!

My awesome Mom, Sisters, and Sister-n-law threw me a wonderful "sprinkle" as we called it. I already had a baby shower with Hallie and thought it was only fitting because this time around I am having a boy!!! Jade and I are so excited. Hallie on the other hand is yet to be determined. I have decided to theme his nursery Fox and wildlife critters. I LOVE nature as well as my husband and found it only fitting. (Except for the fact that Jade thinks that his room needs a Fox skin ;) which he hunted for for months and finally got one. Which is being tanned as we speak. Not exactly what I had in mind but more on that later.) I made the blocks above with scrap paper and got the idea off of Pinterest.

Cute decorations huh they did an awesome job and I really appreciate all who came and supported us. I feel so blessed to have such awesome family and friends!

These lovely ladies are due within two weeks of my due date. I am excited to have little ones so close in age! Left to Right: Brynn- Boy Chalee- Girl and Me- Boy!

One Year Older!

Wednesday Night we celebrated this girls 2nd Birthday. We just had a few family members over and she just loved it! I tried to do a Frozen party but apparently everyone wants the same thing cause finding anything Frozen was impossible so we improvised. I chose Frozen as the theme because there is nothing Hallie likes more than SNOW! She loves to eat it, play in it, and just watch the snowflakes fall. She was spoiled this year cause it snowed on her Birthday, January 29th, and on the day of her party.
The best part was watching Hallie open her presents she literally clapped after every gift and she just ate up the attention. Poor girl if she only knew what was coming in a couple of weeks. :)
Hallie also had her 2 year checkup. She's 24 lbs. 11 oz. 24% Weight 11% Head (She gets a small head from my dad :) and 47% Height. She still doesn't love to eat but is doing better. Her favorite foods are Funyuns, olives, oatmeal, pancakes, pickles ect... ya I know weird. Hallie also has a fun, spunky, strong, personality. She can be the cutest little girl one minute and a badger the next it makes life interesting and fun. I cannot believe how the time has flown! I just love this little girl and cannot wait to see how she will do with a little brother.

Parker with a black eye isn't he so cute!
 Bella helping Hallie open presents.
 Crammed everyone into our apartment.
Cooper (po-po according to Hallie), Jace and Parker I missed getting a picture of Bree :(

2014 Resolutions

For my 2014 goal I wanted to keep up with my blog. I am so bummed I didn't do better last year and as I try to make my 2013 Blurg photo book I am really kicking myself. Not only is it great to keep in touch with family and friends but it helps me to remember all I did throughout the crazy year. I'm going to do a little update then start 2014 out right! So excited for all that this year is going to bring to me and my little family!
Jade- Started his dream job at Golden Valley Natural in October and loves it. He worked at Rexburg Motor Sports for 9 months before that and does not miss the hours spent away from the family. He works in the marketing/sales position and just loves the people he works with. This year Golden Valley is building a warehouse in Shelley and Jade's office will be moved there so we are really excited about that. We hope to settle in Shelley here in the near future.
Hallie- Hallie is turning two this month and I cannot believe how much she has changed in the last month alone. She is now trying to talk and is doing pretty good. She can count to 6 when she wants :) and is working on her ABC's. She LOVES to sing and singing time in nursery is her favorite. She really likes it when she gets to go to Primary singing time with Dad every once in awhile. I love this little spunky, sassy, energetic girl to pieces and wouldn't have her any other way. She keeps me on my toes.
Baby Boy- I am so excited to get this little addition to our family. I cannot imagine having another boy around here. Growing up with only one brother makes me kinda nervous to have a boy. He is due March 7th and is looking healthy. We just had a 3D ultrasound of his face this morning and we got to see him yawn. Even though most of his face was hidden it was so fun to see him.
Me-Well I am keeping pretty busy "nesting" as you would call it. I got it really bad with Hallie and am just getting it with this little one. A little later then I would have liked :). Other then Hallie keeping me on my toes and enjoying this wonderful Holiday season Jade and I keep pretty busy with our callings. Jade was just recently called to teach the 11-12 year olds and loves it. He is such an amazing teacher and does so well. I
love to sit in his classes. I keep busy as the Young Women's President and truly have learned so much. Between my amazing councilors and wonderful girls I have just loved my experience and look forwarded to this new year. If you ever have any ideas you'd not mind sharing or would like to talk about let me know now I would love to talk! :)
I am so excited to see what this year brings to me and my family and I am excited for our little addition coming soon! Below are some of my favorite pictures of 2013 I slacked on putting up. Not this year, I will do better!

The Good, the Bad, & the Funny

So first of all I want to say how excited I am for this wonderful holiday season. Having Hallie in our lives has made life all the more fun and exciting. She is now eight months old and full of spunk. Who knew someone so little could have so much personality. She is pulling herself up to things now and her newest development is turning off the TV. She gets extremely excited over the VHS player, don't know why, it's like you gave her a present almost every time she stands in front of it. She says Mama when she is sad or hurt and Dada when she is happy. Shows who the comforter is and who is the playmate :). She is almost always happy. We are pretty spoiled parents which makes me pretty nervous for the next one. (Which is not anytime soon!)
Being a parent has had it's challenges too. Being overly tired at the beginning had it's toll on me for sure. One night around three in the morning, which was probably my third time getting up with her, I was making her a bottle with formula. A little history about the formula can I had been keeping them and scrap-booking them into storage containers for baking soda and powder. Well I was really tired and accidentally made her a bottle with baking soda instead of formula. Jade had left it on the counter right where I leave her formula and by routine I just made the bottle. Needless to say she kept making this face every time I would give it to her and I couldn't figure out why she wasn't drinking it. I felt horrible once I figured it out and she will never let me live it down when she is older but some things about parenthood should never be forgotten. No parent is perfect right? :)
Jade is in his last semester of college and are we excited! He is doing well and loves all that he is learning about. Tomorrow we are going to start typing up his resume and hopefully will have them out in the next two weeks! I can't believe the time has finally come. Cross your fingers that we are blessed with the job meant for us.
Here are some updated pictures of my beautiful baby girl. I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to be home with this girl everyday. Being a mother is what I was made to be and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Family Update

Five Months
I know I am really bad at keeping up my blog. It's so hard when I don't have internet at my house. I'm really excited though, we will be getting it next month in our home for the first time in 2 years!!!! Jade is currently going to school and to help cut cost we have sacrificed a few things in the the process and internet is one of them. It will be worth it cause here in December my Hubby is graduating with his Bachelors in Business. I am soooo proud of him he has worked so hard and we have done the best with what we have. It has probably been one of the most rewarding, frustrating, emotionally draining, happy, beautiful times in my life. I'm almost said for this stage to be over and honestly who knows what will happen next. We hope Jade can find a job soon after :). I am currently re-enrolling to BYU Idaho to complete my bachelors.Jade and I decided now would be the best time while we only have one kid. Ya I know one ends the other begins but I am so excited I LOVE Byui. It will take me 5 semester to be done but it will be so worth it. Other then that I have been busy doing crafts, spending time with my little Hallie Bug, and spending time with Jade. Hallie on the other hand is growing like a weed. She is 5 1/2 months old and moving all over the place but not crawling yet. I give her a week and she will be. I believe she is teething as well, she grabs everything she can reach and puts in her mouth, even her toes. She still wears her brace but she is doing really well with it. Hopefully by the end of the month she will be done with it for good. This picture below is of her and her two Cousins Bella and Jace. Hallie's face lights up every time she sees them and lucky for us we are going down to Eagar next month to visit them again. We are all excited to see who we can on Eagar Daze. My Mom, Dad, Paige, Jade, Hallie and I are all going down.

Blessing Day

Hallie Jade was eight weeks old when we blessed her. It was on the perfect day Easter Sunday. Considering it's Idaho the weather was pretty nice to us as well we were able to have our luncheon outside and it was so beautiful. We really appreciate all the family who came to share that special day with us. Jade did a wonderful job and gave her a beautiful blessing. Hallie was a good girl as well and such a sport throughout the day.
