Storm of the Century!!

So Wednesday night Jade and I experience a storm like never before here in Knoxville, Tennessee. We had warnings going on throughout the day but we didn't think it was going to be as bad as it turned out. Thankfully the boys came in early that day just to be safe and I was sooo glad they did. Here is the footage to the first storm that hit.

This is what we ended up with afterwards. In some areas the hail were the size of Softballs and going through roofs of homes. We were fortunate ours were smaller.

Here is the Footage of the Hail.

So right after Jade collected this hail from downstairs a second storm came through. The footage and the experience during the second time was a little bit scarier for me. You probably can here me in the back ground panicked. I have never been so scared in my life I really thought we were going to be fit with a tornado. The wind and the sounds were so scary it doesn't help that we live on the third floor.

Aftermath....

Unfortunately, this is not all the damage to our car. It was hit with a flash flood when were trying to get to a safer apartment. The engine waterlocked and the car is no longer drivable. The car behind ours lost their back window.

This car took a lot on the back window crazy how it just left the holes most of the windows shattered.

It was flooded everywhere. We had a hard time getting around town. Jade was talking to an old couple from around our area the day after the storm and they said they have lived here over 50 years and has never had a storm like this. Trees were on the ground everywhere. In Alabama this storm cause over 150 deaths. We are so fortunate we just saw a small part of it. No Tornados were reported around our complex that night. Now we are carless waiting for insurance to take over so we can get something we can drive soon. It's weird to think we are stranded in Tennessee :)

Strawberry Pickin'

Jessica, Stephanie, and I took the kids to a strawberry farm today. It was so awesome. The kids absolutely loved it. The farm was so beautiful and green. The farm also had peach trees, apple trees, and cherry trees but they are of course are not ready yet. I thought is was so fun! I decided to make my strawberries into a homemade whip cream and strawberry syrup pancakes for Jade in the morning.

Ellie cute picture huh! Cody and Ellie they are Courtney's kids.

Easter and our First Week in Knoxville

So Jade and I just experienced our first week here in Knoxville, and how fun it has been so far. We have met a few of the other married couples most of which have children which is awesome! Most of our team is still not here and will not arrive till this coming week. Jade is glad we came out early so he can get some experience in before everyone gets out here. We both have learned a lot about the ways of selling. Jade is learning not to get down when potential sales don't pass their credit checks or they cancel after the sale. I am learning to be upbeat and positive. We have learned from other couples who have been saleing longer (some have been doing this every summer for the past 7 years) that it's all about our attitude and how positive we can be and it's been great for us to learn that. We also just experienced our first Easter in a long while without family. I have a feeling that our group will be close so it does help. Jessica, the managers wife, and I thought it would be a good idea to have a BBQ. So we invited all the single guys and gal to a park not far from our place and we had so much fun. They played volleyball, roasted hot dogs and there was a playground for the kids. The park is absolutely beautiful. There is sooo much water it even had a little swimming area and fishing. But no, Jade did not fish I was surprised. Everything is going great here it's been an adventure so far but we're thinking it will be a great summer!

I caught this turtle at the pond by our apartments. It was smaller than a quarter but I don't know what kind it is.

There are a lot of sail boats out in the water around the park.

There is a swimming area for whoever wanted to swim it was still a little to cold for us.

Our First Apartment

This is the first apartment Jade and I have lived in since we were married. Luckily, I really can't tell the difference minus the three flight of stairs we take. Which is fine with me. Jade and I have always been fortunate when it comes to where we live and not so lucky in another thing, CARS!!! My emergency light came on the moment we got here my car has never had any problems before. It turns out it's leaking oil. Anyway, about the Apartment it's a 1 bedroom 1 and 1/2 bath. We have a great view overlooking the pool and just a few feet away from the club house. Today it's about 75 degrees and believe me it is soooo nice for a change. We are right across from a nice gas station and right in the middle of the nicest neighborhood I have ever seen. The houses surrounding our area is huge! It's been great so far and I am so excited about the rest of the summer. Jade and I have already spotted a little turtle swimming in the little lake here at Heritage. No luck on the possums or fireflies yet.

Road Trip

Kansas City, Missouri Baseball Park Random Coyote on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. During our trip we randomly had statues like this. We saw a huge Abraham Lincoln, Lockness Monster, Jesus's Mother Mary, Dinosaur, Huge crosses and this metal coyote. The road was closed through the pass due to the weather. We waited without moving for a total of three hours our first day cause of the snow. Back Seat of our car. It was as full and we could get it.
Jade drove most the time to Knoxville, Tennessee I offered to help but he insisted on driving. I drove a total of Three hours. As our trip progressed we saw that spring which has not started at all in Idaho seemed to be progressing as we go. In Missouri half the flowers are in bloom and by the time we reach Knoxville spring is in full bloom. Our trip ended up to be a three day trip instead of two which was ok we would rather be safe than sorry. We are here now just trying to get into the gruve of things. Today is Jade's first day selling and I'm just waiting to hear how it has been going.

Family Pictures

We took Family Pictures today and it was fun. Our family is getting bigger and it's getting harder to get everyone to look at the camera. Expecially the kids they were so cute. One thing is we were still fighting the snow and it got really cold while we were out there. Overall it went great and I loved how the pictures turned out. All the Girls
