Second Trimester

Around 22 Weeks
It is definitely time to update on baby :) Time has been flying by for Jade and I. Currently I am
26 weeks and loving being pregnant. Baby Girl has been growing like crazy! She seems to be a night owl she loves kicking the most right before bed. I love to talk to her and have Jade feel her kick. She did kick his ear pretty good the other day when he placed his head on my stomach. I was laughing, she is so cute already :)
For some reason this year I am really looking forward to the holidays with the snow, food, traditions, and Christmas!!! I love sitting in front of the fireplace drinking hot chocolate and watching the snow fall. I am so excited to go to Walmart to hear the Christmas music going ha ha cause Jade won't let me play it quiet yet :). I am looking forward to Christmas and Thanksgiving for a different reason this year. I have so much to be thankful for but I also want to enjoy mine and Jades last holidays together before our family expands and life changes for the better of course. I am so thankful for the time I have had with Jade but we are sooo stinkin excited for our new addition!!!

Baby Girl!!

Jade and I had an ultrasound on September 29th telling us that we are having a healthy little girl. We are more then excited! I had to run to the store afterward and buy her first outfit. Well it turned out to be a PJ outfit which is fitting for me cause I love PJ's. We didn't tell our family till that night and boy was it hard to keep it in. We meet at Sizzlers and I brought a box I had decorated outside and had pink sugar cookies inside and the outfit I had bought earlier that day.
It was so fun.She will be the first grand daughter on Jade's side and the second on my side. Bella, my niece, likes to tell everyone that she has a baby in her stomach cause I explained to her about the baby and it is sooo cute. So if you see her in Eagar lifting her shirt to show you baby Hallie that is who she is talking about ha ha.
Anyway, Paige is putting my baby shower together and needs addresses! She has an invitation on facebook that you can place your address on or you can leave it on my blog. I am so excited to celebrate my baby girl and can't wait to see everyone at the shower! So please don't forget to let us know if you can come :)

Summer Crafts

This summer I was able to do more crafts then I have for awhile. Here are a few pics of what I did.
My friends and I made these cute little baby pants when we were in Tennessee this summer. My pair are second from the left :) I am not sure if I am having a girl or not but whenever I do I am going to be excited to put these pants on her.
I made this blanket at the beginning of the summer for my sister-n-law Janie for a high school graduation present. I had a little helper on this one too!
Bella loved to help me it was so funny watching her.
I made this out of paper to brighten my apartment in Tennessee my mom help me it was really fun it took some string, paper, and glue.
Fall crafts are soon to start and I am really excited!

Baby on Board!

So I have had this post ready for the last couple of weeks but didn't want to post it on my blog until I had another appointment. Yes, Jade and I have FINALLY heard and seen a great heartbeat on our baby !!! We are more then excited. I am a little over 11 weeks today . Two years and three miscarriages later I am finally able to make this post :) It has been quiet an adventure but we have learned so much. Hopefully everything goes well for this pregnancy but so far so good.

So who will our baby look like most. Below I have posted baby pictures of both Jade and I.
Jade right after he was born. Look at all the hair ha ha.
I don't know how old I am in this picture maybe around 2 months.
Jade posing for the camera cute huh!

My first posing picture as well.
Jade doesn't care if it is a girl or a boy and I feel very much the same we are just excited to have a baby. I kinda have a feeling it will be a girl but we will see. We have names picked out for either so we are good to go :)

Visitors

So a couple of weeks ago my Dad really helped Jade and I out. During the crazy hailstorm my Corolla was totaled. The bad part about it was it was also not drivable. Jade and I search and search for a car here for weeks but the problem was that all the other cars were either covered in hail dents or not taken care of inside. We couldn't find anything. So my Dad, Mom, and Seth found us a car in Phoenix and my Dad drove it out here to us. We were so thankful to my Dad he help us out a ton. He got to spend a couple of days here with us and it was so nice to see him.

Sorry my camera stinks that is my dad in front of Bass Pro Shop.
Jade Driving us to Gattinburg.
My Dad spending some time with us. We had lots of fun.
The day after I dropped my dad off at the airport my Mom came to visit it's not how we planned it, it just happened that way and I was excited. This is a picture of my mom and me at Gattinburg it started pouring when we were there it was crazy but fun. We had to wear ponchos most of the time.My Mom and I took a shuttle into the Smoky Mountain National Park. We went into the park and watched synchronized fireflies they only come out once a year and it happened to be the week my mom was here. It was really amazing to watch so many fireflies blink together it was the first time my mom and me have seen fireflies. I was so bummed Jade couldn't go he has been so busy working and he gets home so late at night.
Pigeon Forge is before Gattinburg and it's a huge tourist attraction. Pigeon Forge is focused more on little kids. Go Carts, Dinner and a show, and all sorts of fun stuff.
It was so nice to have family here it made things feel a little more like home. It makes me homesick just to think about it.

Noodling

NOODLING- Catching catfish with your bare hands. (Can't go bare handed their teeth would tear your hands to pieces)
Sunday before last Jade and I went with a couple of Jade's friends from Vivint noodling. It was quiet the experience. I just went along to get video and honestly I didn't want to miss out. This is something I didn't want to hear about because I knew this is something Jade has been looking forward to since we decided to go to Tennessee for the summer.
There is so much more to it then the dictionary says.
1st- you find holes that they bury underneath boat ramps.
2nd- find out if there is any catfish underneath. Most of the time there is two catfish the male and female are there to protect their eggs.
3rd- Make the catfish so mad that it bites your hand. That takes a little bit depending on the fish. They use a hook on a bamboo pool to get them agitated.
4th- Grad their bottom jaw firmly enough that they don't get out. Apparently catfish do the death roll like an alligator does. We lost a couple of fish from them twisting their bodies after you have a hold of them.

Above are video of Jade and Benji, Jade's fishing buddy and friend from home, catching the male and female from one hole. Both fish were around 15 pounds or more I can't remember. Our guide caught a 60 pound catfish this season so just picture Jade's fish like 4 times bigger CRAZY!! They are so weird looking. Jade enjoyed it so much he wants to make a trip back here sometime to do it again. It is a lot scarier then it seems. I am glad I was able to experience this with my husband we all had so much fun!

Bella and Jace Birthday!!

I wanted to Wish my Amazing Niece and Nephew a happy birthday. .
Bella- June 26 three yrs old
Jace- June 25 one year old
I miss those kids sooo much I can't even look at their pictures without crying. They now live in Eagar Arizona and they move there shortly after we moved to Tennessee for the summer. I wish so badly they would be there when I got back but they are on their adventure and I hope I will see them often as they are away. They are honestly and I am not just saying this because they are my niece and nephew but they are the happiest kids I have ever been around. Ask anyone. I just hope my kids are as amazing as these two are. It's probably cause they have the sweetest mother in the world and a daddy that loves them. I miss you all so much.

Knoxville Zoo

Last Saturday Jessica, Courtney, Yoko, and I took the kids to the Knoxville Tennessee Zoo. It was an awesome Zoo. I haven't been to a zoo in a long time so I thought it was pretty cool. The kids really enjoyed it. It made me remember when Shae use to have that Zoo by our house and listening to the lion roar every morning. Jade and I made a goal that if we reach so many sales we are going to go to Dollywood which we have heard is sooo fun. I can't wait to get out more with Jade. It would be easier if we had a car :) not long now... Walker and Noah at my favorite spot but we didn't see one turtle there.

This sign made me and Yoko laugh.
The most entertaining of all the animals; curious too.

The monkey really liked Cody. This monkey howled for awhile it sounded like the Jungle Book.

Storm of the Century!!

So Wednesday night Jade and I experience a storm like never before here in Knoxville, Tennessee. We had warnings going on throughout the day but we didn't think it was going to be as bad as it turned out. Thankfully the boys came in early that day just to be safe and I was sooo glad they did. Here is the footage to the first storm that hit.

This is what we ended up with afterwards. In some areas the hail were the size of Softballs and going through roofs of homes. We were fortunate ours were smaller.

Here is the Footage of the Hail.

So right after Jade collected this hail from downstairs a second storm came through. The footage and the experience during the second time was a little bit scarier for me. You probably can here me in the back ground panicked. I have never been so scared in my life I really thought we were going to be fit with a tornado. The wind and the sounds were so scary it doesn't help that we live on the third floor.

The Second Storm

Comparing to an egg

Aftermath....

Unfortunately, this is not all the damage to our car. It was hit with a flash flood when were trying to get to a safer apartment. The engine waterlocked and the car is no longer drivable. The car behind ours lost their back window.

This car took a lot on the back window crazy how it just left the holes most of the windows shattered.

It was flooded everywhere. We had a hard time getting around town. Jade was talking to an old couple from around our area the day after the storm and they said they have lived here over 50 years and has never had a storm like this. Trees were on the ground everywhere. In Alabama this storm cause over 150 deaths. We are so fortunate we just saw a small part of it. No Tornados were reported around our complex that night. Now we are carless waiting for insurance to take over so we can get something we can drive soon. It's weird to think we are stranded in Tennessee :)

Strawberry Pickin'

Jessica, Stephanie, and I took the kids to a strawberry farm today. It was so awesome. The kids absolutely loved it. The farm was so beautiful and green. The farm also had peach trees, apple trees, and cherry trees but they are of course are not ready yet. I thought is was so fun! I decided to make my strawberries into a homemade whip cream and strawberry syrup pancakes for Jade in the morning.

Ellie cute picture huh! Cody and Ellie they are Courtney's kids.
Keltie Jess's daughter

Isn't this store funny all the rocking chairs on the front porch. They gave the kids slushies I thought they were so good.
